Project Goal

Perspectives approached me to build them their website like a digital magazine so they could post their articles and it could be categorized into their various topics.

Project Details

When the organizers of Muslim Perspectives approached me to build their website for them I was very excited because I could finally tell that my efforts in web design and professional character development were starting to reap its rewards.

Due to a significant time crunch, Perspectives had to be built using a pre-built theme. In this case, the Newspaper theme was used along with their complementary TagDiv Composer.

Home Page

The home page was designed to include a grid of the latest posts that have been added to the website and just below are a list of articles within each of the categories that exist. Users have the option of using the pagination below the Latest Posts section to see more posts. If they are interested in only one particular category of articles, then they have the option of scrolling further down and clicking on the “Read” button under each section.

Muslim Perspectives Home Page

The footer includes a signup form where visitors can register to receive a newsletter from Muslim Perspectives. There are also links to their Facebook page and YouTube channel in the header and footer. The newsletter and social media links are a part of their community engagement strategy.
