Hey! I'm Zakir Faizal
I use my formal education in engineering and my people-centric personality to work with my clients to build WordPress websites that meet their business needs.
My clients are involved in every step of research, design and development and I make it easy for them to understand clearly what it encompasses to build and maintain a WordPress website. This includes transparency in the processes, timelines, and costs associated with website hosting, wireframing, design, development, SEO, and more.
At the end of each project, I will provide my clients with guidance on what their next steps should be in maximizing the value in the website that they receive including conversations on SEO and social media strategies.
My journey in web design includes a formal education in Industrial Engineering with specialization in Human Factors from the University of Toronto.
I was privileged with the opportunity to learn User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) design techniques and principles, which I use to build my websites today.
Through my studies I fell in love with the art of placement and organization of elements, text and shapes on an artboard, which is what website development dwindles down to. Riding this passion, I embarked on a self-learning journey in web development in 2018 and have added to my knowledge base of how much more web design encompasses such as hosting, search engine optimization, and social media strategizing.
Today, I have been entrusted with the design, development, and maintenance of a $2M non-profit organization’s websites.

My mission is to build websites that are not only aesthetically pleasing but are impactful for my clients and customers by generating leads, increasing sales, and confidence in my client’s customers
